Authentic Assessment

Goal: Use Google Docs to develop a Technology-Based Lesson Plan with 2 other people.

Collaborative Groups:

• Teachers will be grouped according to grade and subject area.

• Each group will consist of three teachers.

Materials:

• Three Computer Labs that are located in one building
• Internet Access and Computer for each participant
• Instructor Laptop, Internet, Projector, and Screen
• Learning Focused Schools Lesson Plan Template File
• Google Docs Account
• GA State GPS Standards

Instructions:

• Follow the Technology-Based Lesson Plan Checklist.doc
  • All collaboration will be completed through Google Docs.
  • Lesson plan must incorporate technology as students learn academic knowledge.
  • Lesson plan must address the needs of all learners.
  • Lesson plan must align with grade and subject-level standards.
  • Students will be required to use technology and multimedia as a tool for learning.
  • Students will be required to use higher order thinking skills and produce a product.
